UPDATE - Highway 140 Bridge Construction Schedule - A meeting was held today with CalTrans and the following construction schedule was determined for the new bridges on Highway 140.
Daytime operations will remain as they have been with stop light or flagging operations directing traffic. The night time closures for construction will occur on the following schedule: Sunday through Thursday, beginning May 11 and continuing through the beginning of July.
The hours of closure will be: 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. with openings each hour on the hour. There will be no closures, other than the normal stop light, on Fridays and Saturdays and for the entire Memorial Weekend.
Emergency traffic will be accommodated.
